We want to thank all of our volunteers and participants that made this year's Buddy Walk a success!

The WNCDSA Annual Buddy Walk is 16 years old!
The Buddy Walk is a program that was created by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to assist local parent groups in their advocacy efforts. With more than 275 walks taking place in our city and around the country and abroad, we are able to speak with a unified and stronger voice on creating awareness of Down syndrome. The fun begins at Fletcher Park in Fletcher, North Carolina at 11:00. The walk begins at 12:00 noon. The walk is a short circular track based walk accessible for all. Once you have crossed the “Finish Line” the After-party begins! From 12:30 to 2:00pm, enjoy games, food, fun and entertainment from some very special guests. Get more info here.
